Myrtleford P-12 College and Mansfield Steiner School students and staff are among many from numerous Indi schools and colleges who arrange to visit Parliament House in Canberra.

More than 100,000 school-age students come to the House every year to learn about Australian democracy, its history, discover the ways in which laws are made and experience some of the processes of Parliament, including Question Time. Wangaratta’s Galen College band was also invited in 2019 to play in the Marble Foyer.

You can find out about and arrange a school visit here, including an interactive experience with the Parliamentary Education Office and a talk with Helen Haines MP, Independent Federal Member for Indi.
